Her sunglasses still allowed the viewer to see the color of her eyes through her opaque lenses.

Said the portrait quality is better than a DMV photo.

Flange on binding matches the blouse and really adds to the composition.

Most impressed with binding and flange corners. They were perfect.

  The juxtaposition between joy and sorrow resonated with this piece. 

Believed the flowers framing the face indicated hope of future joy while the embellishment of the eyes, lashes, and tears brought an expression of the sorrow’s life brings.

  From the fish scaled body to the tentacled hair, the quilting enhanced the golden mermaid.
