The Historic Huntsville Foundation will have a special exhibition of our American Signature Quilt, created in 1990 as a fundraiser for Harrison Brothers Hardware, on Huntsville's courthouse square. The quilt incorporates the original autographs of 165 noted Americans into Ohio Star pattern, including presidents, Supreme Court justices, Academy Award winning actors, Pulitzer Prize winning writers, scientists and humanitarians.
The exhibition debuts on Thursday, October 9 at a party in Harrison Brothers, kicking off at 5:00. The quilt will be on display until October 25. PLEASE share this information with your members! The quilt is hand stitched and hand quilted. It is an iconic piece of American history and an homage to a traditional American art form.
